In wastewater treatment plant Burgas the rotating speed of auger is controlled trough electromagnetic brake. The management of this brake is done trough a TouchWin panel. With the panel the brake can be managed though the difference between the inner and the outer rotating speed and it also shows the electrical loading of the brake.

   The management of the brake is done by a control display, shown on fig.1.

   The initial reading of the display is:

• BOWL – outer body’s rotating speed
• PINION – inner body’s rotating speed
• DIFF – the difference between the speeds that has been set
• LOAD – the difference between speeds that’s in the moment
• MODE – the electrical loading at the moment

   The management is done trough setting a desired difference in the speeds (DIFF).
