System for the managing of a steam boiler for bio-diesel.

 The object of managing is a bioler for making steam, using for fuel treated olive stones and
is located near the town of Liushe, Albania. The steam is used to pasteurize milk. Automation
control of the boiler is made possible with a system of a programmable logic controller (PLC),
frequency drives for electricity motors and an operation station (PC).

 The boiler is controlled through a SCADA system, which is visualised on the screen of the operation station.
  The operator has the right to change the settings of automated regulation, some of which are:

1. The wanted pressure of the steam in the boiler.

2. The wanted under-pressure in the upper chamber of the boiler.

3. Speeds of which the fuel is send to the boiler by the screws.

4. Sending of air used for the burning process.

 

 

 Also,some parameters, inportant for the correct functioning of the whole process can be monitored:

1. Temperature of the burning chamber.

2. Temperatures of the air used for burning before and after they have been heated.

3. Under-pressure in the fuel chamber.

4. Pressure of the steam in the boiler.

5. Current state of the two air fans and the smoke fan.

6. State of the fuel-sending screws and the ash-removing screw.

 

 All the mechanisms can be controlled in manual mode, and the screws can be reversed even during the automated mode.The
system allows fully automated functioning of the boiler.
